Adobe Experience Platform
CJA
Customer Journey Analytics
CJA ingests data from the Experience Platform datasets selected in a connection. Data views define the dimensions and metrics available for analysis.
- When it applies
- It supports analysis across web, app, contact centre and other offline sources. You need to prepare the datasets and define how their data relates.
- What it is confused with
- It does not directly query the unified Real-Time CDP profile. It works with data ingested from the selected datasets, including profile datasets.
- Architecture consequence
- Define the person ID and relationships between datasets before building reports. That choice determines which interactions you can attribute to the same person.

- Fix the data or fix the report?
A misclassified channel can be fixed at source, during ingestion or in CJA. Compare who receives the correction and what happens to historical data.
- The purchase is in AEP. Where does it go missing in CJA?
Trace a purchase missing from CJA through the dataset, connection, historical import, data view and filters before loading the data again.
